Housing Redevelopment

The Housing Redevelopment Division of Moresi & Associates was created due to the lack of developable land in the North Berkshire area. Founded in 1999 by David Moresi, it has had a very positive impact on countless neighborhoods in the area. It is the intent of Moresi & Associates to do the next best thing to building new. That is complete renovation of existing home interiors and exteriors in order to make them attractive for resale. Rather than just patch and paint these homes, Moresi & Associates completely redevelops them. This is accomplished by doing all new interior designs and layouts, installing all new wiring, plumbing, and heating systems, making the homes energy efficient with new windows and doors, and finishing the homes with quality materials and attractive details.

Often times Moresi & Associates will go after the worst piece of property in a neighborhood that has been long neglected. When the process of transformation is complete(usually 3-4 months), the end product greatly enhances the existing neighborhood. Often times it is found that working on a project has a domino effect on the surrounding homes in the area exteriors are noticably spruced up. Sometimes it is found that a building is not a good candidate for renovation and the land alone would be of better benefit. In these cases the building is torn down and a new one is constructed.
